Dick Wursten (b. 1960), Antwerp. Ph.D. on Clément Marot (c. 1496–1544), court poet, whose psalm versifications stand at the origin of the Genevan Psalter. Protestant minister, inspector of religious education. Now retired. What interests me: culture and the arts, and how they are intertwined with life, and politics, and religion — in the sixteenth century above all, but also wherever the sources lead: Luther, hymnology, Bach.
